We hope you’ve got the popcorn ready. Tonight Brandy and Rick Fox are appearing on “Dancing with the Stars!” We think Brandy will show them how it’s done and we know Rick Fox will pull out the stops. Tune in at 8/7c on ABC. If you’re looking for a little more drama catch Blair Underwood in “The Event” tonight. He plays the President looking to uncover some of America’s biggest secrets. Sounds good right?
Around here Tuesday will forever be known as CD and DVD release day. We’ve made it a habit of picking up the latest DVDs and downloading the latest albums. This week add Shontelle’s “No Gravity” and John Legend and the Roots’ new CD, “Wake Up” on your to-buy-list along with “Stomp the Yard: Homecoming” and “The Experiment” with Forrest Witaker. Also, Alfonso Ribeiro, known for his role as Carlton Banks on “Fresh Prince” is celebrating his 39th birthday today.
On hump days there’s no better way to relax and enjoy the evening than to watch a little TV. If you need some giggles check out Anthony Anderson on George Lopez, he’s always good for a few laughs. Also, Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are debuting their new TV show “Undercovers.” We’re loving this new action direction Boris has been going into recently. Check out “Undercovers” on NBC at 8/7c.
Lenny Kravitz is joining Mo’Nique on her show this Thursday, it seems like she can never go wrong with picking guests. If that wasn’t enough eye candy for you, Mechad Brooks is chatting with Wendy Williams. You know she will get knee deep in his business, we’ll be tuning in to see what she digs up. And blowing out the candles today is Lisa Raye. She’s more than likely surrounded by friends and family, wearing all white of course. So classy. Happy Birthday!
We know you love him and so do we, Dwyane Wade is stopping by the “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno. Also, the legendary Gloria Gaynor will be the musical performance of the night…“It raining men!”
Right after that, John Legend is the scheduled musical guest on the Jimmy Fallon show at 12:35am also on NBC. He’s hard at work promoting his new CD and it’s good. We can’t get “Shine” off our minds.
