Gearing up for the long week of ahead, I decide to start Saturday’s shows in the evening. This time the train ride from Brooklyn took extra long —- I didn’t take into account the fact that weekend service is always slower. Twenty years later, I emerge from the subway and head to my first show of the day, Erin Fetherston.
I never was a neon kind of girl, but it’s everywhere this season! The bold hue seems ever-so wearable for Spring 2012 because designers really provided a feminine take on the usually sporty-feel that electric hues normally evoke. I am LIVING for this pleated maxiskirt at Christian Siriano! Can we say WOW?! It really works for day or evening and I love the effortless styling with a casual tee and flowing locks.
Ugggh! Darn crack! Running from my cab into Milk Studios, my Vuitton heel gets caught in the sidewalk. I almost take a nosedive for the curb, but catch myself at the last minute. Arrrgh! Well only one fall for the day so far is pretty good for me! Uh oh….my right Vuitton heel feels a bit shaky now. Hopefully it’ll hold up despite the trauma…
