“This was my look for couture designer Ralph Rucci’s ‘A Quiet American in Paris’ screening on the Upper East Side, [but it] never happened! I got dressed up in Wendy Brandes jewels and a cornflower blue PPQ dress, only to discover on arrival that the event was canceled due to a ‘technical glitch.’ I am thinking something is up, as Rucci’s show was also cancelled at NYFW.”
“My first show to watch at NYFW was the Nonoo NY presentation. I went to support my good friend, lingerie designer and actress Marissa Montgomery, who is great friends with Mischa Nonoo, the designer. The collection was very pretty. I especially loved the red tux suit, which had ankle-length trousers (see next pic).
“I wore a DKNY aviator jacket, hat by H&M, trousers from the new Brit label House of Sunny, bag by DKNY, shoes by Y3 and crop top from Religion.
“I chatted with the lovely Natalie, fashion editor of Guest of a Guest, about her fashion advice column and how it’s always been a fantasy of mine to have a Carrie Bradshaw-style column. But probably for fashion and not relationships!
“Congratulations to Nonoo NY, who is also showing in Paris this season.”
“After the Nonoo show I had lunch with Marissa Montgomery, a London friend living in NY and designing for Victoria’s Secret & her own lingerie line called Pussy Glamorre, which I have modeled campaigns for in London. We met up with French photographer Antoine Verglas at a lovely French bistro in Soho. We also celebrated Antoine’s assistant Leera’s birthday. In the picture I am wearing my DKNY jacket, H&M hat, bracelet by Rachel Galley and ring by Wendy Brandes.”
