For her role in “The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency,” she earned a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. The “Princess and the Frog” star is also up for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture. The animated film will compete in the Motion Picture category as well.

After an eight-year hiatus, Maxwell swept fans off their feet with his latest album, “BLACKsummers’ Night.” For his efforts, he earned four Image Award nominations including Outstanding Album, Outstanding Male Artist as well as Outstanding Song and Music Video for his first single, “Pretty Wings.”
We were thrilled when Jada Pinkett-Smith returned to television as star and executive producer of “HarthoRNe.” The TNT drama, which returns for a second season this summer, has been nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category. Pinkett-Smith is also up for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.
