Jessica White may be one of the very few high fashion models that your man has heard of. Sure, she's walked Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta's runways and has posed for all the top glossies--but it was her wildly sultry spreads in almost every Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2003 (she took a well-deserved break in '06) and her slinky status as one of Victoria's Secrets most popular Angels that catapulted her from fashion industry favorite to mainstream sex symbol. Here, the jet-setting Maybelline spokesmodel chats with us about everything from her favorite fragrance to what it's like working for the "fashion bible."

Devise Eye Devised- The Treatment
“This hydrating undereye treatment is from my new skincare line Devise Beauty, launching this winter! Between late nights and early call times, it keeps me looking awake and brightens dark circles.”
Jessica White may be one of the very few high fashion models that your man has heard of. Sure, she’s walked Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta’s runways and has posed for all the top glossies—but it was her wildly sultry spreads in almost every Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue since 2003 and her slinky status as one of Victoria’s Secret’s most popular Angels (here, she’s walking in Victoria’ Secret’s 2007 show) that catapulted her from fashion industry favorite to mainstream sex symbol.
At a Cinema Society film premiere, White goes for a natural chic look with nude lip balm, pearly eyeliner, and clean, glowing skin—which she says she owes to her consistent skincare regimen. “I only wash my face with soap at night, but I use toner both in the AM and PM,” she says. “When it dries, I apply moisturizer. And even though I have dark skin, I protect it from the sun with an SPF 30 foundation. I’ve been using ”http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_013A1659000P?vName=Beauty&cName=Face&sName=Foundation%20&%20Concealer&psid=FROOGLE01&sid=IDx20070921x00003a" target="blank">Maybelline New York Dram Liquid Foundation ($10) lately, and I just love the texture!"
Jessica White showed up to Timbaland’s “Shock Value” launch party wearing her long, thick hair in rippling waves. “I wash my hair three times a week, when I’m not shooting,” she says. “But when I’m working, I have to wash it much more because of all the products the stylists use. I’m a huge fan of ”http://www.amazon.com/Kerastase-Creme-Nutri-Sculpt-Leave-Conditioner/dp/B002YPIF9M" target="blank">Kerastase Creme Nutri Sculpt Leave-in Conditioner ($38)."
Models Take Manhattan
On a 2008 episode of the Tyra Banks Show, Tyra invited several generations of black supermodels to hit the NYC streets in celebration of Vogue Italia’s groundbreaking “Black Issue.” Here, Jessica White is flanked by (from left) Anna Cleveland, Stacey McKenzie, Veronica Webb, Tyra Banks, Chanel Iman and Beverly Johnson.
As a Maybelline spokesperson, White loves to experiment with different makeup looks. But when it comes to her fragrance, she’s very particular. "I’m loyal to one scent…Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey ($65)," said White. “I have to admit, though, I have tried some celebrity fragrances like ”http://www.fragrancenet.com/lovely-sarah-jessica-parker-perfume/sarah-jessica-parker/womens-fragrances/wf/en_US/06613" target="blank">Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Eau de Parfum ($32,) and Beyonce’s scent with Armani, Diamonds ($47). They’re good, too!"
Come On Vogue
In Fall ‘09, White appeared with other Manhattan personalities on the cover of Paper magazine’s 25th anniversary issue. The leggy stunner loves a fun photo shoot, and will never forget the first one she did for American Vogue. “It was a dream, and not only because over three hundred thousand people read the magazine,” she gushes. “Vogue is the fashion bible! The best photographers, stylists and editors work there. It’s a legacy.”
“My beauty icon is my mom,” says the supermodel, posing at a SI Swimsuit Issue party. “But I also really admire and respect Tyra, Naomi, and Rihanna. They all have fierce fashion sense, and huge personalities. Their self confidence is an inspiration to me.”
The Glamorous Life
“The most glamorous side of being a model is the public perception!” says White, looking every inch the glamour girl at a Vh1 event. “It’s almost surreal; people think we’re from a different planet. It gives you a certain self confidence.”
“Even though I expect to keep growing, I have had some big moments in my career,” says White, hanging out with her Victoria’s Secret Angel girlfriends (from left) Marisa Miller, May Anderson, and Ana Beatriz Barros. “Being in Sports Illustrated, walking in the Victoria’s Secret show and being the face of Maybelline. It all happened in America, but those three brands are admired all over the world. It’s a fantastic sensation to feel appreciated in countries I sometimes haven’t even heard of!”
