Keenen Ivory Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Kim Wayans represent for their funny family at a Directors Guild event in Los Angeles.
“I’m blessed to have my brother (Keenan) who’s one of the great comedic visionaries as a partner and teacher. From the start, he flew us out to California and groomed us. Damon taught us about the road and how to do stand-up,” Marlon shares.
Marlon and costar Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje arrive at a screening of “G.I. Joe.”
“[My character] was originally written for White actor but I was like, he’s funny, charming, athletic, he could be a Black guy,” Marlon says. “When I read scripts, I only see attributes, it’s never about the color of the character.”
