Juliette met her hubby-to-be Terrance on Facebook but they quickly took their blossoming love story offline. Now they're preparing to say "I do."
Teach Me How To Love
"Terrance taught me what it means to love and to be loved without rules, restrictions or hesitation," says Juliette. "He loves and accepts my imperfections and doesn’t try to change who I am. I see my future in him."
"He is the best man for me because he taught me what it means to love and to be loved without rules, restrictions or hesitation," says Juliette. "He loves and accepts my imperfections and doesn’t try to change who I am. I see my future in him."
Best gift Terrance ever got Juliette? "On Valentine’s Day 2012, he gave me a video collage that he made," she shares. "It included pictures of me and the background song was Next Breath by Tank. It was the most thoughtful gift that I’ve ever received and best of all, it cost nothing."
"Access to her inner world made me fall for Juliette," says Terrance. "Being privy to the intimate moments between her and her family. The way she loves. There's a beauty there. She's a very structured and guarded person. So, to see behind the defenses, and past the walls, that's really all it took for me."
"We are having a very elegant, black tie mandatory wedding," says Juliette. "Our theme is a royal affair. The colors incorporated will be plum and champagne. Out ceremony back ground will be the reflecting pools in the castle gardens and our reception will be very romantic and regal."
"I had a specific ring in mind for a very long time and Terrance and I always discussed the possibility of marriage in the future," says Juliette. "The ring that I wanted was obnoxiously expensive so Terrance went to our jeweler and had a similar ring designed. I did not know anything about it."
"I went away on a business trip to Nevada once and Terrance stayed at my house to house sit and take care of my dog," says Juliette. "When I was away from him I realized how much I missed him and appreciated him. I knew at that point that I wanted him in my life to stay."
"I would say our first trip together as an engaged couple was the best vacation we ever took," says Juliette. "It was a mini weekend trip to St. Louis to see one of my college roommates a few weeks after we got engaged. The trip itself was great but the best part was introducing Terrance as my fiancé the entire weekend."
