Gabby Douglas Soars into Olympic History
Gabby Douglas was the standout star from the Summer Olympics in London. The 16-year-old gymnast won a gold medal in the team all-around competition, and then made history by becoming the first African-American to win gold in the women’s individual all-around finals in August.
