For the cook on the go, Fewell advises dishes that require less ingredients and work.
“One big tip is a one-pot wonder with your protein, vegetables and starch in one dish,” she says.

Fewell encourages anyone who loves to eat to develop their cooking skills.
“Don’t be intimidated by the kitchen. Try out as many recipes as you can, to see where your abilities lie and have everything in order and all your ingredients out before you start.”
Fewell merges her formal training from Le Cordon Bleu in California with her natural instincts.
“Bring your culture into the kitchen. My dad is from Trinidad, so as a kid I incorporate that robust taste into my meals,” she says.
