Tiffany and Lenson’s love story began with a beautiful work friendship that blossomed into the love of their lives. Their romantic, vintage-inspired Atlanta wedding was the epitome of elegance. Let’s celebrate their love!
The Perfect Catch
“I realized he was the one when I could not stop talking about him to one of my friends, and she said he seemed too good to be and I told her, no he is perfect,” Tiffany confesses. “We had been through a lot over the years, but no matter our ups and downs our love and genuine care for each other always prevailed. It was reconfirmed when we both ended in Raleigh, North Carolina for work.”
“My mother helped me pick out my dress and attended numerous dress fittings, put my vision on paper, and was my sounding board along with my matron of honor, Chardai and maid of honor, Madison,” says Tiffany. She chose a stunning Maggie Sottero gown for her big day and it was a hit.
“I wore Badgley Mischka peep toe shoes with a glamorous brooch on the center toe, a blush veil, and kept the jewelry simple with a vintage looking bracelet, hanging-tree earrings and a hair comb near my bouquet.”
“My mom and aunt were speechless when I put the dress on and it took their breath away,” says Tiffany. “But, I really did not know 100-percent that it was the dress until I stepped into it the day of the wedding.”
“I absolutely did not think I’d find true love when I did,” says Tiffany. “I thought it would be years down the road, like when I was 30, and I thought it would happen after I dated a few more people.” Luckily, she didn’t have to wait long to find her partner for life.
“I viewed over 20 venues in the Atlanta area and narrowed it down to three,” says the bride. “I was sold on the Biltmore because it was rich and opulent just like I had dreamed of and I was ready to bring my Lenson down to put his spin on it.”
“My eyes started to water as I walked down the aisle to my soon-to-be husband, and as I saw my aunt begin to cry,” Tiffany admits. She chose classic tune “You” by Jesse Powell for her big march. “I always knew what song I would walk down the aisle to even way before I met Lenson.”
“My dad walked me down the aisle and my mom joined us at the altar before they gave me away,” Tiffany shares. “I wanted both of my parents to get their moment. I did not want to take the moment that every father dreams of with their daughter away from my dad nor did I not want to give my mother the opportunity to give me a way since she raised me in a single parent household. And, it worked! Thanks to one of my employees that gave me this idea.”
“My grandfather was our officiant,” says Tiffany. “We decided to get someone close to us to marry us and after some thought it became very momentous to have my dad walk me down the aisle, my dad’s dad marry us and my brother stand in line with the other groomsmen to witness our union. That made it very special to me.”
“One of the pieces in the reception room was the stage that was set for the head table that include the matron of honor, maids of honor and best men with up lighting behind it and the sweetheart table in the middle, and that made the room to me,” the bride tells us.
