Dr. Denese Shervington is president/CEO of The Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies, a community-based public health institute in New Orleans. She is also a clinical professor of psychiatry at Tulane University Medical Center. Dr. Shervington is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine; she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco.
