Tyra Banks Slims Down and Shapes Up

It's a "Tyra Show" movement--Get Your Shape in Shape! Talk-show host Tyra Banks is dedicating the entire hour to answering all questions and providing step-by-step tips on her healthy new lifestyle after being inundated with e-mails and letters from fans.

The former supermodel, who admits to being sent jeans that don't fit their previous owner and even a prepaid cell phone from a viewer asking her to call them and tell them how she lost the weight, informs viewers this is "not a diet," but "a lifestyle change."

"This is not a diet; I do not believe in diets. I have been on diets in the past and they are a bunch of bologna! This is a lifestyle change. It's not about being skinny, its about getting in the best shape that you can be," says Banks, who has publicly battled her weight. "This is a "Tyra Show" movement. If I can do it, and love to lay up and not workout and I love me some BBQ ribs and some ice cream and some Haagen Daaz, I can do this and you can do this and still eat what you want, just not every second. It is time to get your shape in shape!"

The talk-show host filled her entire audience with those who wrote in inquiring about her new lifestyle and is asking everyone to partake in her get fit and get healthy challenge.

The former top model, who calls her different measurements her levels, also says she still has maintained her "34DD boobies and her round booty."

Banks, who is joined by her nutritionist Heather Bauer, covers it all on this episode from love 'em and leave 'em carbs to fiberlicious foods, sample lunch and dinner menus, even which fast food choice is the best if you're on the go! Tyra looks sick. Somebody told her she needed to lose some weight. She is a tall,thick,big bone sistah and she need a little weight to carry her look right.

Confusing... one minute she is ok with her 'fuller figure' the next she is slimming down!!

 

Go Tyra, get your audience in shape. She's a little thin, but she's not a big boned type of woman...every body style is different. Like she says, we should just strive to be our best body shape. I'm 5'5 1/2 and I weight 160lbs...too much for me, not bad, but too much...if I lose 20lbs I might look a little thin too especially since I'm a 49 yr old woman, so I'm thinking if I do a lifestyle change and lose 10-15 lbs, I should be good. We have to be our own nutritionist and eat 3 small meals a day and incorporate more veggies, fruits, and colorful foods. And don't forget the vitamins for us older women..ain't nothing to it but to do it...do a little positive self talk and get off the couch and go walking :)
