Michelle Obama and Rihanna Top Best-Dressed List

The late Jackie Kennedy Onassis was always revered for her fashion-forward style. Now, Michelle Obama, a potential first lady-in-waiting, has been hailed as one of People magazine's 10 Best Dressed Stars of 2008 for her keen sense of style. The 44-year-old Harvard Law School graduate, former vice-president of community and external affairs at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and mother of two's confidence, polished looks and fresh take on classics such as sheath frocks have made her a style icon and among the oldest ever to make the cut. Rihanna's good-girl-gone-bad transformation, which fuses tough-girl panache and uptown glam has made the 20-year-old, one of the youngest to make People's list of top fashionistas. Goes to show you can be stylish at any age.
Other ladies included on the list are Gwyneth Paltrow, Fergie, Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Mendes and Charlize Theron.

What difference doe it make what does it matter what Michelle Obama wears. What we need to be focusing on is what she does and what characteristics she protrays. Why are we as a society so vain? Let's give Michelle and the Obama's a chance after all she cannot please everyone. Erica Stuart Canada

Comparing Jackie O to First Lady Obama is ridiculous. First of all Mrs. Obama is black remember, real woman curves, not like stick figure Jackie O. Mrs. Obama represents the majority real women now, get used to it, or move to Canada!

dg hales...Mrs. Obama has a lot of weight around her hips...So what? She's a real woman with real curves. And you think Mrs. Kennedy had class and a great figure...oh really? If Mrs. Kennedy had any class, she would not have married an old, ugly Greek after the president's death. She should have been able to stand on her own two feet and earn a salary instead relying on the kindness of men. Great figure...Jackie she was shaped liked a McDonald's french fry.
