This is a BEAUTIFUL location ! I, for one, miss it very much. But thanx to a few thoughtful cousins (Ralph and Deb) I, along with other family members, get to visit. The one involved, at this moment, with the "social" scene of the estate, is doing a WONDERFUL job and yes, Deb, I will help spread the word for you !

Lovely pics. I've been to a party on this estate, and I wish each viewer could see more of the beautiful, house, pool, lake, and grounds. It is a wondrous step back in time.

Gorgeous photos. Love them. Would love to see more realistic outfits and normal-sized models to help us dress everyday. Let's get real about our wallets, how we dress in the office, & at the store. I'm not going to wear the mink and thigh-high boots to run errands, but I do want to look fly and not spend $600 for the shoes.

Are we coming into our own or what? This the best, this is us. WOW!! I am considering this as a birthday present to myself...just because I am 66 years young today doesn't mean that I am out of the loop yet!!!!! Good job.

I must say I NEVER come to essence.com for fashion and that might start changing with creative pieces like this. There are so many talented Black people doing amazing things in fashion, but you would never know it, because most Black publications think we can't handle REAL fashionable content. Could things be changing??? Beautiful photography.

Get over it people editorial/fashion models are typically thin.It is such a pity how people feel so free to express negativity when it comes to slim women. Consider using the same discretion & consideration as you would with larger women. God made us ALL how He desired.I loved the shoot btw, awesome job!

I know the model in this story and let me tell you that girl EATS. She's just naturally thin and has been since she was teenager. Not every woman, who is thin has to be anorexic people.

Qiana Smith's creativity really comes through! Composition is beautiful and vampire glam is very apparent. Wow, wish the majority of America is as thin as these beautiful models. Even though we're an obese society, I appreciate the high standards for being thin. It's absolute eye-candy-gorgeous to look at :)!
