Angela McGlowan

Angela McGlowan is the founder and CEO of Political Strategies & Insights (PSI), a government affairs, political strategy, public relations, and advocacy consulting firm based in Washington, DC.

With a wealth of federal legislative, press-related, and corporate experience, Angela McGlowan offers a fresh and unique perspective on the Washington political landscape.

From 1999 to 2005, Ms. McGlowan served as Director of Government Affairs and Diversity Development for Chairman Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, and as such was responsible for the development and implementation of aggressive diversity initiatives within the Fox Entertainment Group and its owned and operated interests. McGlowan also functioned as an advocate to Congress for federal legislative policies supportive of News Corporation's corporate objectives and growth.

Determined to make a difference through public service, McGlowan served as Director of Outreach for the Better America Foundation, an organization founded by Senator Bob Dole. This organization was aimed at promoting community empowerment throughout the nation. Ms. McGlowan established and implemented outreach programs in preparation for Senator Dole's Presidential bid.

Ms. McGlowan began her government affairs expertise by serving as Government and Public Affairs Manager for Steve Wynn, Mirage Resorts, Inc. During her tenure, she participated in lobbying initiatives with the American Gaming Association (AGA) that laid the foundation for Mirage Resorts latest gaming properties, Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV and the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. Ms. McGlowan also developed Mirage Resorts advocacy and community outreach programs for both Las Vegas, NV and Biloxi, MS.

In addition to her strong credentials as a corporate government affairs advocate, diversity expert, political organizer, and spokesperson, McGlowan brings to PSI extensive press and policy expertise honed in the halls of Congress. There she served as a key legislative/press aide to both Representative Roscoe Bartlett (6th Dist. Maryland), and Representative John Ensign (1st Dist. Nevada). Ms. McGlowan also served as publicist to Representative Ensign's successful re-election campaign in 1996.

Angela McGlowan is a bestselling author and a seasoned news talk professional who currently serves as a political and business analyst for both FOX News and the newly launched, FOX Business.

New York. From March of 2005 to May of 2006, Angela served as host of Good Day Street Talk, a New York Fox 5 WNYW Saturday morning political/public affairs show. She now serves as a guest host for the show along with the Fox 5 Anchor Team. A proven communicator able to connect with a wide range of audiences, Ms. McGlowan has made appearances on numerous political shows including PBS's To the Contrary (a show from a woman's perspective), America's Black Forum, This is America with Dennis Wholey, BET's Tonight, and ABC's Politically Incorrect.
