I have just finished the latest novel "Love Notes" by Chicago Author Reginald Dunlop and it is awesome! This book takes a refreshing look at love and relationships without all of the drama that so many fiction writers are flooding us with! This will be abest seller!

I just finished reading a WONDERFUL story by a new writer. Another Man's wife, written by Shonda Cheekes, was nothing less than a page turner for me. This book is published by Strebor Books, which is owned by best selling author, Zane. I would love tosee you guys do an article about new writers. I don't think they get enough publicity. It seems that everyone is always interviewing the authors that are established instead of giving the newbies a platform to reach the world. I would love to learn more about Ms. Cheekes.

Is the book "The Coldest Winter Ever" ever going to come off of the best seller's list. I'm pretty sure that book isn't still selling copies like it was when it first came out. Why don't they remove it off the list so that other artist/writers can be recognized for there talents as well. It's been on this list for the last few years. I've noticed because I've been subscribing to Essence for years. I do agree that it was great story, but come on really. Is it really still selling that many copies to beon this list like it

Eric Jerome Dickey's Friends and Lovers has been adopted into a stage play and will tour spring 2004. The same company that did Michael Baisdens plays are behind it. visit www.imreadyproductions.com to see more about it. You guys should cover it in the magazine. This is my favorite book.

"The Other Woman" is great. Just like all his other books Dickey keeps you hooked becasue you always want to know whats going to happen next. I really enjoyed it.

Cry The Beloved Country by Alan Paton is a fantastic book! It's been around for almost 50 years and affects everyone who reads it. Bill Clinton, said he read this book while in college and it changed his life forever. A Black man's country under a white man's rule.
