I think it's ridiculous to blame the "Democratic Congress" for things like not repealing the Patriot act or making elections secure. They've only been in "power" for about 14 months now, and they have a non-veto majority in the House and the slimmest majority possible in the Senate. You know when you need Joe Lieberman to vote for your side you're going to have a little trouble changing National Security policy. I am an Obama supporter (note that I didn't state a Democrat) yet I appreciate Ms. McKinney's viewpoints. She has chosen not to go along with the status quo or the Establishments for the sake of Status or political gain. She speaks as a woman of integrity and that is exactly what is needed in This Hour when our Nation's global ratings have fallen along with the value of our struggling economy. The issues of the Green Party platform are significant enough to raise the bar, but not to assemble the national press coverage

The need for third party candidates to get into the game so late has a lot to do with campaign financing, without which underfinanced parties have a difficult time doing their work. Get the money out of elections - reinstate the fairness doctrine. Standardize federal and state ballot access requirements. She'll fight for these thing. I want her voice and Nader's and anyone who tell the truth about the dirty backroom deals going on in our government in the name of free-market. McKinney, even with her faults, is at least
