I was so in awe of The Wire. I watched it from the beginning and never missing an episode, in fact watched each episode at least 10 times in a week :-).......... One of the best shows on television (HBO), I know everything has to end, but I was very upset when it ended, and actually cried when Omar and Prop Joe got it...They weren't the nicest people, but they were what they were and I gave them props for their honesty and doing what they said they were going to do... Even Snoop who for a minute I thought was a young boy, w

Kudo! to the producers of the wire for presenting HBO viewers with such a captativating docudrama as the Wire. It became a part of my sunday routine. It also gave some much needed insight into political corruption at it's finest. I must say the ending dissapointed me, I was expecting more people to be rubbed out and not get away with murder. I felt like prop Joe when he got the visit from Omar "ROBBED".

The "Wire" became a part of my world. I had feelings, empathy and sympathy for the characters. If I did not know any better I would have thought that a camara man followed real people around and got the story. Thank you for giving me something to do and feal every Sunday. This is a terrible break up.

I loved the wire, hated to she the "younging" going to robbing the dope man and dukie becoming a dope addict, I hated to see Omar killed I wanted him to get Marlow. Over all I have enjoyed the series and wished it would have ended a little different. ButI guess it's act imitating life, because in real life most don't make it off the mean streets. SAD!!!!!

to see dukie go down and mike doing his thing and prop joe having his day it was the most heart breaking thing to see! dukie not seeing his teacher again bubbles going up stairs and eating dinner marlow not hanging with the lawyer and taking it back to the street !!! a hell of a lot better than the soprano's!!

the wire ended a whole lot better than the soprano's did!!!!!!!!!! a lot of my questions were answered and then to see the whole thing come together was the best!! that was the only way to keep all the other cases from coming apart was for everyone to keep quiet! and live with it!!

I am going to miss the Wire. I pray that you bring it back. The characters were so real and I look forward to it every Sunday night. Omar is the man and Marlow is a "you know what". I want to see where each character goes.

I feel like I know the characters on The Wire personally. I made me proud to see Namond in front of an audience debating, but it made me really sad to see Dukie out on the streets. I will miss watching the wire and wish that there could have been a happier ending for Dukie.

There are few shows I become addicted to but I must say The Wire had me hooked from day one. It was the most realistic show I've ever seen and I felt as if I knew each character personally. My heart went out to many of the chararters, especially "Dukie" I cried like a baby when Michael dropped him off at Arabber's stable. Poor kid never stood a chance. I really hate this is the final season...What will I have to look forward to on Sunday nights now?

What a ride it has been! HBO has the type of shows that make you stay home, get comfortable and be mesmerized. Wireheads, you all know what Sen Clay Davis always says, "Sssshhhhhh******tttt." That's how I feel about The Wire going off the air. Wirehead 4ever, Anita D.

Where to begin? I have watched this show with my then fiancee now husband since the beginning. It has become a permanent fixture in our house. When Omar died, I was hurt like that was my family. Yo-everyone on the Wire will be missed-and I too am glad that Snoop got done up before Michael!

I've been watching the Wire since the 1st season. It's hard to see it end, eventhough I didn't think I'd watch it anymore w/out Idris Elba. The other character's did such an awesome job, I didn't really miss him. Please make this into a movie. R.I.P D'Angelo, Stringer Bell, Bodie, Omar, Prop Joe & Snoop. Glad to see Snoop leave before Michael.

I really enjoyed the series. I looked forward to seeing the wire each and every Sunday. It was a very realistic but painful depiction of how the forces of drugs and it's addictions affect various peoples lives today. This show will be missed by many viewers.

I am just soo devestated that this is the last season. The Wire hands down has been the best show on TV! My husband and I have already purchased box sets 1-4, and will be getting 5 as well! I wish they could reconsider cancelling the show, but damn near everybody is dead. Once Omar died, I was just speechless. First Bodie..Prop Joe..Omar....now Snoop!!!!!? "How my hair look Mike?"..talk about last words... A HUGE THANK YOU to the cast for making the last few years on HBO great!

My husband and I truely loved watching the Wire. We wish it did not have to come to an end so soon. This series captured the reality of living in the inner city and the ghetto. It focused on all angles of black male children growing up in poverty and the rough experiences they have at a very young age leading to adulthood. I really wish that the directors and writers would reconsider continuing the series because there is so much more that could be revealed because Michael has just bloomed. We have watched String and Av

I am soooo upset that The Wire is about to end! My favorite scene is when Stringer Bell was gunned down by Omar and Brother Mouzone!!! Fine as he is, he had to go! I hope that they give Michael the honor of killing Marlo. Scott, the stupid lying reporter has to be exposed by Gus. Man.... what am I gonna do now??

THE WIRE WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED! I'M HOPING THE OVERWHELMING HIGH RATINGS WILL CHANGE THEIR MINDS ABOUT ENDING THE SHOW. I PREDICT THAT MICHEAL WILL BE THE DRUG MAN IN CHARGE AFTER KILLING MARLO. SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER MCNUALTY AND FREEMAN WILL GET OUT OF THE HOT SEAT AND THE MAYOR WILL BE OUSTED!

Micheal will be Drug Lord after killing Little Kenard and Marlo. Or Dookie will Drug Lord after killing Kenard and Marlo after they kill MicheaL let the streets get him McNulty and Freamon will get caught

I think that McNulty is going to get caught; Marlo and his crew are going to be dismanteled, and Michael is going to attempt to kill Marlo; and the mayor might get thrown out of office.

I think that the final episode will be great; however I am saddened by the fact that the WIRE is going off so early. I believe that the show had at least 1-2 more seasons before it ended. All of the actors and actresses are wonderful. I hope that none ofthem get typecast when they decide to pursue other movies or tv shows. I also hope that when they Emmy's come out that the WIRE racks them all; up just as the Sopranos did when they ended. Great Show; Great Writers; Great Cast; Great Story, Great Actors. What more could a TV
