Nappily Ever After was the very first book my club read. We just loved it! The issues in the book were things that all of us could relate to. On our 7th anniversary we will read Nappily Married and Trisha Thomas will join us. We look forward to reading that book and Nappily Faithful too. Waiting for Halle Berry to make the movie.

My book club just finished "All I Ever Did Was Love a Man" by Sharon Allison-Ottey, MD. This is a book that my club unanimously agreed that this is our pick of 2007. Great plot, twists, turns etc... but most of all a message for women that may save lives. I believe that Essence should pick this as the book or the book club.
