I love discovering new authors. Abiola Abrams's book Dare was smart, sexy and fun. I loved it. Very unique voice. Georgia Woodbine and Piper were also motivational. Just wanted to share about black women writing positive books!

I visited a wonderful event at the Hue Man Bookstore in Harlem. They have a wonderful calendar. It was called the Dare to Be A Goddess Workshop. It was a postivity workshop for women with advice on money, romance, love and inner beauty. I actually was inthe store by accident and didn't know what to expect. The authors were Abiola Abrams, the pretty TV girl from BET, Renee Daniel Flagler, whose books I have read and love, Piper Anderson, and Georgia Woodbine. Recently finished a novel by Dwayne Murray titled Whatever It Takes. He was the same author who wrote The Mouse That Roared. I have to say this guy is riding under the radar. His books are intense. Folks on this forum should check them out. His writing style is different than most and tends to keep you hooked in the story. I hope he's working on another. PEACE!
