To many, Chris Rock is known for his stand-up, his hit show 'Everybody Hates Chris', which stars Essence.com blogger Tichina Arnold, and his recent documentary 'Good Hair'. But any mom will tell you, he's also Marty, the wise-cracking zebra from 'Madagascar.' After two successful films, 'Madagascar' and 'Madagascar: Escape to Africa,' Rock and co-stars Ben Stiller and hollywood mommy Jada Pinkett-Smith have recently finished 'Merry Madagascar,' a holiday themed special for NBC scheduled to air on Wednesday, November 18.

When asked what Rock's kids, Lola and Zahra, thought of his work in the series, Rock said: "Oh the youngest one [Zahra] was probably too young but the oldest one [Lola] loved it. And they loved number two and they're looking forward to this one. I haven't let them watch it even though I got a little advanced screening tape. So they'll watch it on TV like everybody else."
