We've been waiting with bated breath to find out when the biopic about late rapper Tupac Shakur will hit theaters––and now we finally have a date.

All Eyez On Me is set to drop on the late emcee's birthday: June 16. 'Pac would have been 46. The film takes its title from his iconic 1996 album and will star Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, with appearances from Danai Gurira and Kat Graham.

'Pac's legacy has remained strong among fans and pop culture, topping many lists as one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time. He was even briefly revived via hologram for a performance with Snoop Dogg at 2012's Coachella Music Festival.

Now that the date has been announced, the toughest part begins — waiting patiently. Summer can't come soon enough.
