Police Want Tiger's Home Surveillance Tape

Florida Highway Patrol officials are bent on knowing just what went down at Tiger Woods' home before he crashed his Cadillac Escalade in front of the home at 2:25 a.m. on Friday November 27. After learning that the tennis pro's home is outfitted with surveillance cameras, they're after the tape. According to TMZ, at least one video should show Woods exiting the home and may be able to verify or disprove claims of domestic violence.

Police Seek Warrant for Tiger Woods Case

UPDATE 11/30/09: Although Tiger Woods said his wife Elin Nordegren "acted courageously" after he crashed his car just outside of their Florida home, the Florida Highway Patrol may not be satisfied. According to TMZ, the FPH is seeking a search warrant so that they may obtain medical records from the hospital where Woods was treated to determine whether the lacerations he suffered were from the accident or from domestic violence.

To obtain a warrant, the police must show probable cause that a crime was committed. Apparently they may be able to find it in Nordegren's not-so-straight stories. Nordegren told Windemere police that she went outside, discovered Tiger's crash and then ran back to the house to grab a golf club to break the car window and rescue her husband. However, she told FPH that she searched for Woods in a golf cart and grabbed the golf club once she discovered he was stuck in his Cadillac Escalade.

Authorities may also be able to gain a search warrant if there's probable cause that Tiger was under the influence. While they ruled out alcohol, TMZ previously reported that Woods had been taking pain medication.

CNN pointed out today that Tiger, who is known to be very private, is not required to talk to the police if he doesn't want to.

Tiger Speaks Out, Says His Wife 'Acted Courageously'

UPDATE 11/29/09: Tiger Woods has finally spoken out about his accident over the weekend. In a released statement on his website, Woods says the incident is a 'private matter'.

"Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible," he adds.

Addressing rumors that his wife may have caused his injuries, Woods defended her. "The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false," he says. "This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be."

Tiger's Neighbor Called 911, Not Wife

UPDATE 11/29/09: According to TMZ, which recently posted photos of Tiger's car accident, Florida's Highway Patrol said that the only 911 call made to report Woods' crash was not from his wife, Elin Nordegren, but from a neighbor. The phone call will be released today. The FPH also have plans to return to Tiger Woods' home today at 3 p.m. to talk to the athlete and his wife.

Police Turned Away From Tiger Woods Home, Twice

UPDATE 11/28/09: Police have now been turned away from the superstar golfer Tiger Woods' home twice following yesterday's crash, reports TMZ. Both times, police were told Woods was unavailable. They're said to be investigating whether Woods' injuries are consistent with scratch marks (from his wife) or lacerations from the car accident. Sources believe Woods might be stalling in hopes that his wounds will heal. His wife Elin would be charged with domestic abuse if it's found that she caused his injuries.

Police to question Woods about accident

UPDATE 11/28/09: As more details emerge about Tiger Woods' Saturday morning crash, police are saying they would like to talk to the professional golfer. The first question, according to the Associated Press: Where was he going at 2:25am? And why did no one from his camp report the incident until 13 hours later?

Shortly after the accident, police say they found Woods on the ground with his wife, Elin Nordegren, hovering above him. "She was frantic, upset," an officer told the Edwardsville Intelligencer.

But a TMZ source reports that Woods' facial lacerations may have been caused by his wife during a heated argument after a recent story in the National Enquirer linked him to a Manhattan nightclub hostess. The source says Nordregan chased Woods' with a golf club, hitting his car as he ran from their home.

There was also no blood found on the steering wheel, causing even more rumors to swirl about the cause of Woods' injuries. TMZ reports that Nordregan may have told officers a different story than what was initially reported in the media.

Officers from the Florida Highway Patrol are expected to speak with Woods today.

Derek Jeter will be next. Another one who won't give a black chic the time of day

Men will only stop cheating when women stop letting them use them. Sisters and Women, we really have the power. We can stop this cheating madness, but we give up the power and control when we allow a man to cheat by having affairs with us. Sisters and Women, let us be strong and support each other and finally stop the cheating. This also applies to the DL men too !

Tiger does not identify with his rich African ancestry and culture..shame on him..his loss. One day he will need our support, just like the misguided ones before him....I hope he signed a prenupt because just like the others, he will pay dearly and another white woman will become rich and famous. Why can't men be faithful? When will men finally learn this lesson? To Tiger and you other cheaters out there, is it really worth it?

WHO CARES! THERE ARE MORE PRESSING THINGS GOING ON IN THE WORLD THAN WORRYING ABOUT THIS MAN WHO WOULDNT GIVE A BLACK WOMAN THE TIME OF DAY!

Tiger is no different than any other man just better at hiding it

Essence please get your editors to work... Tiger Woods is a "GOLF" Pro NOT a Tennis Pro.

Tiger is a golf pro not a tennis pro.

His wife was a model in her native country, she just wasn't a super model big deal, very few models are. Wifey handled the entire situation the wrong way she should have gone quietly to court after getting a private investigator to prove the allegations.

Well if Tiger Woods never knew what it was like to be a black man, I suspect he's about to find out. Although he IS still being treated with kid gloves. Let me tell the police to make an appointment to speak to me after I crash my car into a hydrant!! The who what when where and why's are really irrelevant, that is until it became so hush hush. If it was as simple as that, then why the big cover up?

Tiger is black..and so was his dad!! The media will show him now how black he really is!! I like Tiger, but I hate when black people deny their black heritage..WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS!

My problem with Tiger is that he seems to go out of his way to distance himself from anything black..I understand that he is not a black man, but he seems to try to aline himself with white American standards, he has no problem denouncing his blackness but goes out of his way to appease and appeal to white folks, who secretly hate him with a passion..I'm aware he plays a predominantly white man's sport and that's his surrounding most of the time but he is a disappointment as a man of color..I remember when the white golfer made a joke about serving collard greens at the Masters, while Tiger stood looking like a fool..Let's face it Tigers's in the white man's world on and off the court.

Tiger Woods didn't hurt anyone else, but himself. He didn't commit a crime. Why the police are hounding him for information? If he damaged the water hydrant or the tree, just have him pay for the damage. His wife didn't press charges for anything. So, just leave it alone. If they are having some family problems, it's no body's business. When we common folks have a car accident, if we didn't hurt anyone, it's not all over in the news. So stop hounding the fellow and please accept his privacy.

Sound like a Booty Call gone wrong ! What's the BFD? Just another trifling man with money.

Why are we so very angry and resentful about a man's personal choices? Grow up and re-channel your energies. What a waste of your time here!!!

Whatever, His wife confornted him about sticking some other women after his GREEN. His wife scrathed his face up, he left got into a car accident and that's pretty much the end of that story. He may or may not BE a sleezy uncle tom but like it or not he's protecting his WIFE like a real man would. He'd rather go done as cheater then have the media paint his wife as a crazy women scorned by her husband.
