We need to stop teaching our daughters, and sisters that a man should never hit a woman. We are living in different times. We should be teaching our daughters and sisters that a woman should never, ever push a man to the point that he would want to hit her.
@ shy4faces...I totally agree with you. We are doing everything wrong. What ever happened to forgiveness. This is a child not a 40 yr old who have done this. Times have changed now that it is not about a man who should never put his hands on a woman. I am 32 yrs and my parents always taught my sister and I , to never put your hands on a man or woman unless you want it in return. POINT BLANK!!!
Black people bash each other so much along with white people but you get mad when a white person does something to a black person.
We all should be doing something positive with our energy. Go outside and introduce yourself to your neighbors on your street. Go and mentor a child who needs a role model and stop bashing this child.
I don't know anyone who is bashing Sean Penn for beating the hell out of Madonna on numerous occasions. I bet 80% of you all will continue to watch Wesley Snipes movies who by the way beat Halle Berry and left her 80% deaf in one ear.
Black people get it together and hold one another..Is this the reason why we have so much black on black crime..Thought so!!!!!!!!
Chris Brown I can't wait to purchase your CD next week.
FIRST OF ALL LET ME SAY THIS..CHRIS IS NOT THE FIRST NOR WILL HE BE THE LAST TO DO WHAT HE DID...OH TRUST I AM ALL AGAINST A MAN PUTTING HIS HANDS ON A WOMWN..BUT NONE OF US WAS THERE WHEN IT WENT DOWN..WE DO NOT KNOW WHO HIT WHO FIRST..DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE MRS.R IS SO INNOCENT..ITS JUST IN THE MEDIA EYE THEY WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE THAT I LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD..
Wesley Snipes, David Justice, Steven Segal, Jean Claude Van DAMN, have all done exactly what Chris Brown has but I dont recall seeing this much of a media show and angry career crushing ppl running after them. It is sick how we jump on the most vulnerable. This child made a horrible mistake. The key word is CHILD, above are grown men and they got nothing but a slap on the hand. One of the victims was Halle Berry of all women. But we watch a child do something really stupid and we want to rip him of his career and everything else he has worked for. I have a daughter and I can not tell you what I would do if she ended up like Rihanna. But, what I do know is that I would not want to take everything away from him. I would want to make sure know one ever stood in my child's shoes and felt the pain she did. But I ask what does stripping him of his career do for the situation? How does it confirm he will never do this again? It's just a way for ppl to take their frustration out on a young man that has been caught doing a horrible act. He has apologized, tuck his head, disappeared and is trying to come back. We have actted as if Rihanna was our daughter, friend, sister or even ourselves. Now, lets act like Chris is our son, friend, brother or ourselves. And give this young man a chance to be forgiven like we know we should.
His fan base is NOT primarily the audience of GMA, so who cares who they allow or reject to perform on the show. Chris you're not the 1st or the last teen (at the time) that's going to hit a female or defend yourself from a female who struck you 1st while operating a motor vehicle. Just know that we all make mistakes (especially the bloggers who like to blog their politically correct thoughts that they KNOW they don't live by). You have fans that will surely continue to support you, you're handsome, you're a quarduple threat. (cute as can be, great singer, dancer & actor) U will do well and at least you're not out here on drugs, etc. So let's thank the haters for they keep us motivated, Hooray to u haters!!!!!
Everybody one day will come across some abuse whether it is physically or mentally. Nobody in this world is perfect. The bible says do not Judge, and what is everyone doing, Judging this man and condemning him. This should be a dead issue, let this man live his life and she live hers. There is always (2)Sides to a story and we will never here the whole truth. Chris and Rhianna have moved on with there lives. If you like there music than buy and if you don't then don't buy it. There are worse people in this world that are murders, child molestors, people killing babies, and they do not get this much attention and some get off scott free, with no jail time. Yes there are friends , family who know someone who has been hit, slapped. What do you do. You support them, give them encouragement to move on. Will you hate the other person, No! life goes on. Wake up America. Lets start teaching our kids and family of signs of abuse. It starts at home and how we are being raised. This generation of kids is so different then 40 years ago.
Well, this is a clear example - you reap what you sow. Chris is reaping it now. You have to think about your action before you do some. Chris knew he was in the limelight... his head was getting too big. This will certainly humble him. It is not right he has to keep living it, but he is reaping his actions.
I am sick and tired of everyone villifying Chris Brown. He is a young man who is portraying behavior he was raised viewing and no matter how much he tried to "escape" it, he could not. He is a young man who at least is admitting to his mistake and flaws. There are much older men who have yet to learn their lessons. Let the man have his second chance and prove to us his will and desire to change.
Enough already with Chris Brown assaulting his ex-girlfriend....Who cares anymore... There are more important things going on the world then Chris Brown....Also, everyone deserve a second chance...in life...so let chris brown have his second chance...He's not the first entertainer who has abuse their girlfriend...and he won't be the last...so let it go...darn...

Q youre right it takes two people to argue, but it takes one person to almost kill someone. We didnt have to be there to see that. He gave a half hearted apology. Its just hard for me to understand why people dont get it.
Anna, everybody knows it take two to argue, and since we wasn't there, nobody know for sure what happen.
My God the man has already apologize MOVED ON
Some of your statements just blow me away, theres more to the story wake up, he beat her down and admitted it period. And the people who say Breezy would do that HELLO! YOU DONT KNOW CHRIS BROWN, how can you say theres more to the story, we can see he's a dangerous unstable young man with anger issues, I really wish people would grow up and stop saying she brought this on herself.

I'm tried of hear about Chris Brown. This young man had learn his lesson. It time for to forget and forgot. Because there other star that still abuse women, but it no in the media like Chris Brown. Like Halle Berry sitution with her ex-husband. There James Brown you put a gun on his wife but his career was not stop, but we can let this young man to keep his career going. It time for the media and TV show stop judge becaues it a family show. lOOK IN YOUR HOUSE THERE SOME ABUSE PERSON IN MEDIA THAT DOING THE SOME THING. Stop and hear what Chris Brown is saying how many time is is suppose to apologized about what happen. Chris Brown need to get his life back and we need to stop judgeing him.
