Chris Brown's court hearing was today. The judge looked at Breezy's progress report, which showed that he's completed 100 hours of community service and 52 domestic violence classes. Since everything looked all good, the proceedings were over in seven minutes, according to TMZ. The next progress report hearing is February 18. _______________________________________________________________________

Chris Brown on Rihanna Interview: "Should remain a private affair"

UPDATE 11/5/09
: Chris Brown reacted to Rihanna's interview with Diana Sawyer, which played in its entirety on last night's 20/20, by releasing a statement to MTV.

"'While I respect Rihanna's right to discuss the specific events of February 8th, I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us. I do appreciate her support and wish her the best."

"I am extremely sorry for what I did, and I accept accountability for my actions. At this point, I am taking the proper steps to learn about me and grow from my mistakes. I only hope that others in similar situations can learn from our experience as well."

"Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."

Chris Brown on Reason for Beating: 'Just Anger'

UPDATE 11/5/09: With Rihanna finally opening up to Diane Sawyer, Chris Brown uses the opportunity to tell his side of the gruesome tale. The 20-year-old singer recounts what happened on that dark February night on a MTV News special "Chris Brown: The Interview," which airs Friday, November 6. The one-hour interview is held with MTV correspondent Sway Calloway.

"My thoughts [when I look back on it now] is like, 'Why did it happen?' Like, 'What was I thinking? What is wrong with you?,'" says Brown in excerpts released on MTV.com.

Admitting that he is now in group therapy, Brown says he is trying to move past this.

"It's like, 'How do we get past it? How do you ... go from point A to point B? How do you learn from your mistakes, turn it into a positive and help other people with the situation, and at the end of the day become the person that you want to be?' "

He also speaks on the reason for his fury.

"Just anger ... Yeah, anger ... Young people, we do before we think."

It is reported by New York's Daily News that his 'Fan Appreciation' tour is not yet sold out and ticket sales are not very impressive.

"I think with my fans, they still love me, they support me, definitely. You have those people who will support you. So it's kinda like 50/50 for me. I got the people that will come out and support and then the people that don't wanna see me do anything. They basically want me in jail."

Brown struck a plea deal to avoid any jail time this summer that had him perform community service and attend weekly therapy sessions for one year. His album, Graffitti is scheduled to drop on December 8th.

CHRIS BROWN IS DOING WHAT THE COURT ORDERED SO HE SHOULD PERFORM. WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TRANSPIRED THAT NIGHT, NOR DO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO JUDGE CHRIS BROWN. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES, SO BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU THROW A STONE. AS FOR THE RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE WHO HAVE LED A PERFECT LIFE WITHOUT ANY MISTAKES, TAKE FOUR TYLENOL WITH SIXTEEN OUNCES OF HATERADE AND HOPEFULLY YOU WILL FEEL BETTER IN THE MORNING!! CHRIS KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND STAY HUMBLE, I WISH YOU MUCH SUCCESS!!!!

Diane, you sound STUPID.

Talk is cheap and the one talking is Rihanna! She's lying about the incident and allowing Chris to take all the blame. She said she couldn't let it go and IF (like OJ with if he did it), IF she did hit him, does it give him the right to do that to her.
She did hit him while he was driving and could have made them crash, so she did start it and should have walked away instead of being stupid and allowing her temper to get the best of her.
At least Chris Brown is getting help and is completing what's necessary while Rihanna needs to complete anger mgt. counseling too, but won't since court won't make her and she only talked to up her cd sales.
Chris seems sincere and I applaud, yes applaud the fact that he has some sense or someone near him has advised him well enough to say it's a private matter and it is whether you like it or not (we didn't get hit & sure as hell not getting any of RiRi's money for using this story to sell cd's).
Chris is a young man who will learn, grow and move on.
Rihanna is bad news and think she's just now starting to lose fans because as wrong as Chris was, they know Rihanna is lying.
She still wants him & I hope he stays away from this drama girl.
ALL THE GIRLS WHO START STUFF GOING OVERBOARD ON GUYS PUNCHING HITTING ETC NEED TO CALM DOWN AND CARE MORE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY THAN WINNING A FIGHT AND WALK AWAY, OUR GIRLS NEED TO LEARN SELF PRESERVATION FIRST SINCE RIHANNA SURE DIDN'T CARE UNTIL SHE GOT HIT BACK, BACK, BACK

Uhh Jay..Rihanna has only done 1 interview, CB has done about 8, so who is really playing this thing out over and over????????? to All or nothing?? are you saying chris brown was protecting Rihanna by beating the sh** out of her?? and now he will be blessed 3 fold?? LMAOOOOOOOO seriously??? two sides of the story...ok, we have chris brown's side of the story and Rihanna's bloody face and swollen lip as the other side of the story!!

Chris "Breezy's" sucks! What is he wearing in that MTV video, yucky. I am sick of Rihanna too but everytime time I see his face on here I get flashbacks of how bad Rihannas face was from the beatdown. Atleast, you guys could have got a pic with him looking remorseful and sad about what happend. He looks reall happy pappy like he doesn't give a F.

Hold on Chris... This too shall pass! I know there's more to the story than is being told. His side, her side and somewhere in the middle is the truth perhaps you were simply protecting Rihanna's reputation and or career. Chivalry is not dead. If that is the case you will be blessed 3 fold. If not then it was a mistake I'm sure you learned from. Your career is very much alive and people will continue to love you so keep doin you!

Co-sign Fallon! Very well said, you took the words right out of my mouth!

Most of these comments made by individuals on these articles show no remorse and are just not logical. I guess if you are going to once and for all define a person based on one bad incident, then I guess many of you would have a worse rap sheet than Mr. Brown. The truth is, if domestic violence was viewed and handled fairly for both genders, it would be just as many females with domestic violence criminal records, serving prison or jail sentences, and performing community services.

I believe Rhianna's interview was just her merely acting. I do not condone what Chris Brown did, but I also believe that there are two sides to the story no matter what happened. He seems to be sincere. I can understand why Chris wants to keep it private and not talk about the situation. Mainly because he does not want to relive that night, and furthermore, trying not to expose RiRi because he knows she is not telling the whole truth. Plus, if he did say something people would think it's a lie. Lastly, I believe everyone should be given second chance. They both are young and have alot of growing to do. No one should pass judgement upon him. Everyone makes mistakes. And, this is not the first time a celebrity has made a mistake. This whole thing has been taken out of proportion.

I am so proud of Rihanna! I personally feel that it is Rihanna's right to speak about the situation whenever she feels like it. I appreciate her not coming out with a statement immediately and actually taking time to collect herself before speaking publicly. If she decided to speak about it now because her album is coming out, who cares. If her words can help one little girl not fall victim to domestic violence, then she has done a good thing. The problem with domestic violence is that often it is a silent crime. The victims feel embarassed so they don't talk about the abuse and then one day it's too late. I think that Rihanna should talk about the abuse anywhere and every where she feels necessary, this should not be swept under the rug just to make Chris Brown's life easier. She is the victim in this situation. He doesn't even sound remorseful. I don't think he gets it.

CHRIS BROWN SHOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT MORE SINCERE WITH HIS APOLOGY. HE SOUNDED SO UNPLUGGED. RIAHINNA WAS GREAT
SHE WAS VERY SINCERE. I DO NOT WANT HER TO EVER GO BACK TO CHRIS BROWN; HE IS A WOMAN BEATER, THAT WAS NOT A MISTAKE WHE HE BEAT HER, A MISTAKE IS WHEN YOU STEP ON SOMEONE'S FOOT, YOU SAY SORRY, BUT WHEN YOU BEAT A WOMEN YOU ARE NOT A
MAN. CHRIS YOU NEED JESUS.

Chris Brown is nothing less then a coward, he doesn't want his image more damage, so of course details of how he beat a woman should be could kept private, Chris didn't mind talking in details about his stepfather so-called abuse, but his abuse should be kept quiet...I think Chris is going to beat again, because he lives in a delusion about himself. All the evidence points to Chris beating Rihanna..so what's his side, how his fist were aching afterwards..The proof is in the pic.

I have to be honest. I really don't care abour CB or Rhiana. I do think that it's wrong to hit a woman but I think these 2 need to go away. Oh and I don't like either one of their music lol.
Frankly I'm sick of hearing about it

I do think that there are two sides to every story and we do not know everything that happened. they were both violent to one another and they both need counseling on how to handle their anger. I also believe that no man or woman has a right to hit either one and if a relationship gets to that point it is time for them to get out of the situation. The first time it exculated to who ever the person was that starting hitting first it was time for the other person to go. This goes for both women and men becuase their are cases where men get abused. I thinkg that they should both be held accountable for what happened and they should both be able to move on with their lives they are both young and can learn from this situation and it is time for them to heal and put this behind them so that they can move past it. With that said I think that it is time for everyone to move on and let these two young people move forward with their lives. The only person that can truely past judgement and knows what actually happened is God. So let it go move on and leave them alone.
