I attended ESSENCE last year and I must say that the trip can be very expensive. However, if you have never attended The Festival then you should go at least one time in your life.

Did tickets really sell out in one day or is something wrong with ticketmaster? Couldn't order online or over the phone! I couldn't even find any re-sale tix on sites like stubhub. I followed the link from the festival homepage. Is there a catch?????

Whooaaa...did you guys not get the memo that we are in a recession? The same seats I got for this year are $180 more next...that is INSANE! Does Essence have a crystal ball about the economic recovery of this country that nobody else knows about because I don't see how they expect people to pay practically double without even announcing 1 act!
