Lala Anthony, Kelly Rowland, Halle Berry and More Celebrate Mothers At VH1’s ‘Dear Mama’ Event

Moms were the stars of the show, which is set to air this Monday.

Lala Anthony and Anthony Anderson took the stage Saturday night to host VH1’s 2nd Annual Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms celebration. And the star-studded event had some of your favorite actors and musicians attending with their moms.

Lala hit the Red Carpet with her mom, Carmen Surillo and 10-year-old son Kiyan, telling the press where she finds her strength  just weeks after it was announced she would be divorcing her husband Carmelo Anthony. She wore a gorgeous red gown.

“My family. My family is my strength,” she told People. “My family and God is my strength. That’s where I’ve always found my strength my entire life, so now would be no different.”

Kelly Rowland, one of Lala’s BFFs, was also there in support. Actress Halle Berry, in a sexy sheer jumpsuit, also came out to celebrate and give honor to a mother from the non-profit domestic violence organization Jenesse Center. 

Other stars in attendance with their mothers: Mary J Blige, Robin Thicke, Ludacris, DJ Khaled, and Maxwell --some of whom will be performing during the night.
