The couple confirmed the news to ET today: "The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony."

ESSENCE honored Oprah Winfrey, Alfre Woodard, Gabrielle Union, Mara Brock-Akil, Naomie Harris and little Quvenzhané Wallis at our sixth annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon.
The Black Women in Hollywood honoree, who will be taking home the 2013 Power Award, says: "What really matters the most is knowing who you are and whose you are."
"She's an amazing mother, wife, creator and executive producer," says Tia Mowry.
