Nicole Beharie Set To Host Season Nine Of 'AfroPoP'

The Sleepy Hollow actress joins a star-studded line of hosts who've previously appeared on the show, including Idris Elba, Anika Noni Rose, and Jussie Smollett.

Actress Nicole Beharie just landed a cool new gig.

The 42 star is set to host the ninth season of AfroPoP: The Ultimate Cultural Exchange, a docu-series on the WORLD Channel that explores contemporary art, life, and culture across the African Diaspora.

The season will kick off with An American Ascent, a film about the first African-American team of climbers to attempt to climb Denali and their goal to drive other African-Americans to enjoy the outdoors.
