Nicki Minaj just took a big step towards making history.
Her song “Black Barbies” -- a reworking of Rae Sremmurd #1 hit “Black Beatles” -- made its debut in the Billboard 100 this week at no. 65.
And its introduction gives Minaj her 70th top 100 entry, making her the second-highest female artist with the most songs ever on the historic hot 100 chart. “Black Barbies” pushed Minaj past Taylor Swift, with 69 songs, and just three behind Aretha Franklin, the highest woman on the list with 73, according to Billboard.

“Notably, Minaj has been credited as a lead artist on 27 of her Hot 100 entries, or 39 percent. Franklin has been the lead on all 73 of hers (with much of her career predating years in which featured billings became common),” Billboard reports.
The song also made it onto Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart at No. 30 and Hot Rap Songs at No. 20.
