On Friday, Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama welcomed their official White House Christmas tree. As tradition would have it, the 18 1/2 foot Douglas fir was pulled through White House gates by horse-drawn carriage. The Obama's tree will proudly sit in the Blue room on display for the remainder of the holiday season. The President, holding ice to his newly stitched lip, looked on from inside the White House as his family greeted the tree. How should the First Family decorate their tree this year? With colored lights and a star on top?

First Lady Michelle Obama gave children in Harlem and Newark a workout they won't soon forget. In town to promote her "Let's Move" campaign against childhood obesity, FLOTUS was clad in workout gear as she got the children jumping rope and running. She even did shuttle runs with them -- how fun! During her stop at Harlem's Police Athletic League Center the First Lady told kids, "You are our future, that's why I spent so much time with you guys. Turn off the TV, turn off the video games, put down the potato chips and the candy."

First Lady Michelle Obama made a surprise visit to Ramstein's Air Base in Germany today, where she joined 200 soldiers for a special Veteran's Day meal -- even lending a hand in the cafeteria line to help serve the young men and women and their families. Mrs. Obama also walked through the room, talking to soldiers and thanking them for their dedication to their country. "We are so grateful to all of you," she told them. "Not just our servicemen and women, but their kids, wives, husbands and parents." Here, the First Lady praises 10-year-old Malaysia Chevere for being a "straight A student." Here's what you had to say: Katherine commented via Facebook: "Here's a toast to the First Lady Michelle Obama and a special shout out to my granddaughter currently serving in the US Army."
