Adrienne Bailon’s pre-bridal bliss is in full effect right now
The Real co-host alongside her future hubby-to-be Israel Houghton celebrated in a joint co-ed wedding shower adn she is truly living on a high of love.
With a Parisian theme as a nod to where the gospel singer popped the question with a gorgeous rose gold 8-carat Emerald cut diamond, the couple enjoyed the love of family and friends as they prepare to walk down the aisle to begin their forever.
Bailon told PEOPLE that because life after marriage would obviously be a joint effort for both she and her husband, she wanted to shake up tradition and have a shower with a twist.
“I always knew if I did a bridal shower I knew I needed it to be co-ed. I can’t imagine celebrating my engagement without my fiancé,” she said. “I like hanging out with him so why would I want do celebrate without him.”
With this being Bailon’s first venture down the aisle, the singer couldn’t be more excited to start her life as Mrs. Houghton adding that she “can’t wait to marry [her] best friend.”
Adrienne’s The Real co-host was on hand as well to play emcee for the night offering words of encouragement, laughter and of course poured plenty of love into Adrienne and Israel as they prepare for their upcoming union!
The couple is expected to exchange vows later this year and from the look of their wedding shower alone, we know the nuptials will be a beautiful affair!
