Rihanna Is Perfection In Blush Highlighter On The 2017 Met Gala Red Carpet

Per usual, the singer takes a makeup risk and it pays off. 

Rihanna's last tour de force Met Gala appearance occurred two years ago, when she literally shut down the red carpet in a bright yellow couture coat by Chinese designer Guo Pei that nearly cover the entire staircase at the Metropolitain Museum of Art. 

This year, she brought the same level of drama to the Commes Des Garcon-themed event in a Fall 2016 garment from the aforementioned designer. There's no denying the perfect execution of this runway ensemble, but let's not overlook the equally tantalizing makeup and hair choices.

RiRi's sky high top knot added even more height to her head-to-toe look, while the flesh-tone lipstick, highlighter and blush came together to create monochromatic makeup greatness. We can't help but wonder if the singer is wearing anything from her forthcoming Fenty Beauty line (fingers crossed!). 

All in all, we're completely unsurprised by this effortless slay.
