Bob Marley Could Top Rich Dead Celeb List

Twenty-eight years after his death, Bob Marley is still making an impact all over the world. A private equity firm in Toronto, Hilco Consumer Capital closed on a management deal with the Bob Marly estate that is predicted to bring in some $1 billion.
According to CNN, Marley could end up the richest dead celebrity. The Marley brand already earns about $600 million and new Marley brand and products in Marley's name, from consumer electronics and video games to a skin-care line, are still being negotiated and created. Not bad for a Bufallo Soldier.

Jackson's Doctor Search Warrant Unsealed

Apparently the company that installed TV systems at Neverland is suing MJ for not paying. According to TMZ, Video & Audio Center filed a creditor's claim that alleges that Jackson paid only $25,000 of the $109, 504.85 owed for jobs done in 2003 and 2004. VAC says they already won a judgement for the rest of the money in 2007. Now they want $128,482.77.

Alicia Keys Launches Jewelry Line

Alicia Keys is slated to launch her The Barber's Daughters jewelry collection this Monday, November 23rd in New York City.

According to WWD.com, Keys and design partner Gisèle Theriault have created a line of sterling silver and gemstone pieces, which range in price from $85 to $2,500, that feature the poetry and prayers of The Hidden Messages in Water author Masaru Emoto.

Oprah Sheds A Tear For Show's End

TMZ posted a video of a teary-eyed Oprah addressing her supporters about ending 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' and about 'Season 25' of the historic Daytime TV program.

"I love this show ... this show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it's time to say goodbye. 25 years feels right in my bones and my spirit. It's the perfect number, the exact right time," she said.
