Jade Greene-Grant is sitting pretty after winning almost $100,000 on Wheel of Fortune.
The Bronx teacher took home a car, cash, and a trip after solving three puzzles on the game show.
According to The Journal News, Greene-Grant and her friend, fellow pre-kindergarten teacher Barbara Magnotta, submitted a video for the show back in May.
When Magnotta was summoned to audition the two managed to persuade the show’s casting team to let them both come in. Unfortunately, after the Brooklyn audition, only Greene-Grant moved on, but Magnotta was happy for her bestie.

“Even though they chose her and not me, I couldn’t be happier,” she said, “It was truly surreal and I am so proud of my best friend.”
Greene-Grant’s episode aired Wednesday and Magnotta was in the audience to see her friend win big. The two plan to use the prize money to release a children’s book.
Greene-Grant told reporters, “We wrote a series of books a few years ago geared toward the children we teach. After so many years reading book after book, we kind of know what our students like and what is worth reading.”
“We’ve used many nights and weekends researching publishing and illustrators, but no luck yet.” Magnotta added, “Our lives are all about children. We never would’ve met if it weren’t for children.”
Congratulations to Greene-Grant!
