Busy wife and mom Ayesha Curry has always got something cooking (literally and figuratively)—but the celebrity chef and author of “The Seasoned Life,”ended up getting a huge surprise while appearing on Rachel Ray’s daytime talk show.
While cooking two recipes from her new cookbook—in store’s tomorrow—she got a sweet surprise visit from her mom, who came to help her finish the dishes which included wine-roasted chicken with vegetables; and her mom’s homemade chicken soup, made with the leftovers.

The wife of NBA star Steph Curry and mother to daughters Riley and Ryan, couldn’t hold back tears as she embraced her mom.
In addition to the heartwarming mother-daughter moment, Ayesha revealed three things many might not know about her on the show: She threw discus and shot put in high school and her nickname was “Big Al”; she can play electric bass and once performed with a jazz band for the mayor of her hometown; and she once appeared on an episode of “Hannah Montana.”
