There will always be love between Lil Wayne and his ex-wife Toya Wright but that doesn't mean the pair will be revisiting their romantic relationship anytime soon.
After the hit-making rapper posted a photo of her on Instagram, fans began holding on to hope that the friendly exes were reuniting once again. Sorry, folks. It's not happening. While visiting the ladies on daytime talk show The Real, Wright set the record straight once and for all.
The author and soon-to-be divorcée said that even though she will always care for Wayne, she doesn't have her sights set on another chance at love with him.

"I will say this, you never know what the future holds," she began. "But right now I just feel like it's a no. He has a lot of growing up to do. He's still kinda like 'hot boy Lil Wayne' and I'm at a different place in my life. But I will support Wayne forever, that will never change because I'm his friend first."

The 33-year-old did rush to be with Toya and their daughter Reginae following the unexpected and brutally tragic death of her brothers, Rudy and Josh, staying close to offer his comfort and condolences following the news of their August murders.
If nothing else, it's good to know Wayne and Toya still share a special bond. While rekindling things isn't high on Toya's priority list, whose to say what the universe has in store for these two?
