We can’t wait to see what the Queen of Hip Hop Soul has up her sleeves.

Mary J. Blige is all about ‘no more drama’ in her life—but when you cross paths with How to Get Away With Murder’s Annalise Keating (played by Emmy winner Viola Davis) you can be sure, that’s exactly what you’re in for.

The R&B songstress will join the cast of the hit Shondaland drama series for season three. While the details around Blige’s role remain murky, creator Shonda Rhimes has already teased a mysterious new plot line for the twist-packed show and we’re anxiously waiting on the edge of our seats.

This is just the latest role for Blige, who’s been making major moves in Hollywood lately. After a stint in the season one finale of black-ish last May, she went on to star as Eveline in ABC’s The Wiz Live! special in December—where she snagged a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie Made for Television or Limited Series. She’s next set to land in the Dee Rees-directed Mudbound, which is slated for release in 2017.
