The actor says his son tricked him into celebrating his 18th birthday in London where the drinking age is 18.

On Thursday night, Will Smith stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new film Suicide Squad. Smith dished a little on the upcoming film and also talked about his family, revealing that his son Jaden tricked him into celebrating his 18th birthday in London so he could drink.

"[Jaden] has a show coming out called The Get Down and he was promoting in London. So, he was like 'I'll be promoting in London. Everybody should come to London and we could celebrate my birthday there.' So we go and hang out for his birthday...then we go to a restaurant and Jaden was particularly excited. We sit down at the restaurant and he looks at the waiter and he says, 'I'll have a tequila' and I said 'Whoa, whoa, son. Hold up, what are you doing?' and he says, 'The drinking age is eighteen in England, dad.'"
