Philadelphia’s annual Roots Picnic music festival was one for the books this year and now the show is headed to the Big Apple.
The 2016 Roots Festival line up had the city of of brotherly love on a music high over the weekend as a host of Hip Hop & R&B heavyweights like Usher, The Roots, DMX and Future hit the stage to deliver one unforgettable performance after another.

Talented newcomers including Kehlani, Chloe and Halle and Anderson Paak also delivered memorable performances that kept the crowd singing along from beginning to end.
Following the success of this year’s event, the organizers have announced that the concert will travel to New York City for the first time ever this fall.
Switching things up slightly, the NYC lineup for the 2-day music fest includes D’Angelo, Wu Tang, Jeremih, Swizz Beatz and more.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, with the show set to take place in Manhattan’s Bryant Park on October 1st & 2nd.
