Who would've ever guessed this?!

Although the well-known jingle for McDonald's was introduced in 2003, "I'm Lovin' It'' has become so recognizable that it's hard to imagine that there was a time when the iconic song didn't exist.

The fast food chain reportedly paid Justin Timberlake $6 million to sing the tune. And, while it was widely believed that he and Pharrell were responsible for the jingle, it looks like that isn't the case.

In an interview with Hot 97's Ebro Darden, Steve Stoute, the CEO of the marketing firm behind the campaign, revealed that it was actually Pusha T who composed the unforgettable jingle.

"You know who did that? Pusha T. That's crazy that Pusha T wrote the song to McDonald's," Stoute revealed, as he discussed his time working on the campaign, one of the first major projects for the marketing firm.

So, it turns out you can thank Pusha T for the infectious jingle that leaves your mouth watering for a burger and fries every time you hear it.
