Tyler Perry Talks Being A Father In Hollywood

The proud papa said that his son will definitely know the value of hard work. 

Back in 2014, Tyler Perry and partner Gelila Bekele welcomed a beautiful baby boy Aman Tyler Perry and while promoting the upcoming film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the filmmaker and actor answered a few questions about fatherhood.

Perry sat down with Rolling Out and shared, "It's very surreal and all the clichés you hear 'Oh, it's life changing,' all of it's real. It's amazing."

The filmmaker talked briefly about how hard he's worked and how far he's come. Perry says that although he's worked hard for himself and his son, little Aman will definitely learn the value of work, "Just because he was born into privilege doesn't mean he won't have to work. He was born broke, he's got to go to work. He's got to find his own way. I'll be there to help guide him, but he's not going to have everything handed to him."

With a dad who's conquered movies and television and overcome many struggles to get where he is today, little Aman definitely has a great role model to learn from.
