'Hip Hop Honors' to Return to VH1 to Celebrate Women in Rap

Queen Latifah has signed on as an executive producer. 

VH1's beloved Hip Hop Honors will make its triumphant return in July to celebrate trailblazing women in hip hop.

Since its first event in 2004, Hip Hop Honors has celebrated pioneers like Tupac, Russell Simmons, and Public Enemy.

Hip-Hop Marriages

VH1 has yet to announce who they'll be celebrating this time around, but there are some big names behind the scenes including Queen Latifah and Mona Scott-Young, who have signed on as executive producers.

VH1's Hip Hop Honors will air live Monday, July 11th at 9pm.
