The resurfaced footage shows Kendrick Lamar joining the late icon for "What's My Name?"

In 2014, Prince threw an album release party to celebrate his double albums, Art Official Age and Plectrum Electrum. The event, hosted at his Paisley Park estate, included interviews with His Purple Highness and a three-song performance that was streamed on Yahoo.

Video of that webcast has basically been erased from the internet, but recently The Prince Museum shared a clip of ESSENCE Festival headliner Kendrick Lamar joining the late icon for "What's My Name." Lamar adds his touch to the song by dropping a verse at the beginning before Prince launches into a stellar performance.

Other videos have been posted since then including footage of Prince in the studio with Mavis Staples and footage from an interview where Prince refused to speak. Each video is further proof that Prince was truly a one-of-a-kind artist.
