Lee Daniels and Effie Brown's TV Pilot, Starring Queen Latifah, Gets Series Order

The FOX show will follow three young Atlanta-based singers as they navigate the music industry.

Lee Daniels is bringing another series to our TV screens.

Star, starring Queen Latifah, and co-executive produced by Effie Brown, was given the green light for a pilot last year. Now, after a few re-shoots, the series has been picked up by FOX. Daniels will direct the pilot.
