It all started with a tweet when Black Twitter reimagined with an all-Black cast of the 1996 film, Matilda

Casting in the lead role goes to young Black-ish actress Marsai Martin, with her parents played by Empire's Golden Globe winning star Taraji P. Henson and comedian Kevin Hart.

The rest of the cast includes The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes, Rashida Jones, Octavia Spencer, Jordan Peele, Keegan Michael Key and Quvenzhané Wallis.
