If you’re counting down the days until “The Jungle Book” hits theaters (April 15), then you’re not alone. The imaginative remake of the classic 1967 Disney film is promising to be amazing and features the voices of our favorite stars — Lupita Nyong’o and Idris Elba, amongst others. But you’ll also be happy to know that the flick is being feted with a very stylish clothing collection by Kenzo.
The Parisian brand, under the helm of creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, has dreamed up a limited-edition line of men’s and women’s threads that will delight fans of the film and anyone else looking to turn heads.
We’ve got to say, the vibrant jungle-inspired prints are not only super nostalgic — which makes sense since they were directly inspired by original drawings from the Disney archive — but they also fall completely in line with spring 2016’s colorful trends. Plus, it’s nice to see that even a few of the movie’s most beloved characters like the Bengal tiger, Shere Khan, have found their way onto the threads.
The collection, which retails from $145 to $705, will be available on April 7 at Kenzo.com and is shoppable right now at Bergdorf Goodman.
