“OK LADIES now let’s get in FORMATION! So BEYond excited to finally announce that I’m on the official @beyonce website. A special shout out to Queen Bee herself and the amazing team behind it.”
Mercado is one of the three models cast for the collection, which includes T-shirts, sweatshirts and accessories emblazoned with lyrics from Beyoncé’s new hit single.
And if the blogger-cum-model looks familiar it’s because she’s already been striking a pose for brands like Diesel, Nordstrom and even CR Fashion Book.
Beyoncé tapping Mercado for the gig is an example of the type of inclusiveness that we yearn for in fashion and further proof that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, skin colors and beyond.
