“I have come to understand and listen to the fear,’ said the Black-ish star while receiving the Fierce and Fearless award at the 9th annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon.
There is so much to love about actress Tracee Ellis Ross.
Whether it's her sense of humor as we first noticed on the hit series Girlfriends or her amazing style that even her Black-ish tv character Rainbow emulates, Tracee is one we can't help but applaud. But of all the things that make her amazing, one the best things about her is her humility and self-awareness.
She was equally inspiring while receiving the Fierce and Fearless award at the 9th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood luncheon. Tracee pushed through illness and fatigue to give a moving speech about self-love and not feeling the need to chase perfection.
