Timbaland Releases Unheard Aaliyah Song, 'Shakin'

The late singer had recorded it before her death in 2001.

Timbaland knows how to give the people what they want.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the mega-music producer has dropped a previously unreleased song, "Shakin,'" that he and Aaliyah recorded before her death in 2001.

"Aaliyah...This one is for you baby," he wrote on Twitter.

The song is featured on his new mixtape King Stays King which was released on Christmas day. Aaliyah and Timbaland worked together on some of her most well-known songs including, "Try Again" and "Are You That Somebody?" Over the summer, Timbaland hinted that he had music recorded by Aaliyah that no one had ever heard and in the 3-minute track, he gives listeners the sound and vibe that made music from these two so amazing.
